Psalm 103:9-10 “He will not always accuse, Nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.”
Woah, am I right? Just woah. Now THAT is what I call grace. Lets read it again, sink it in, drink it up! let the words wash over you; “He will not always accuse, Nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.”
That my sisters is grace. Flat out, black and white, clear as day, GRACE. I have seen so many times in my life when I have stuffed up (messed up). BADLY. I’ve thought; “THAT’S IT. God is NOT going to be happy with that one!” I’ve asked for forgiveness and waited, and waited, and waited for my punishment. And all I feel is His amazing grace. For those of us parents, when our children stuff up, when they make BIG mistakes, we still love them right? We still love our child. And if they come to ask for forgiveness, a part in our heart melts because ultimately we love them. And that love is a powerful love, and it covers that mistake. Now imagine that on a massive scale! That sisters, that is grace.
